Summer Learning Program

  • Dear Parents,

    Any 1st-8th students that receive a grade of "Incomplete" in Reading and/or Math for the 4th quarter will be required to attend Virtual SummerSchool. The program is being offered as additional support for students and is not a requisite for promotion to the following year. As stated bythe district, the Board has adopted a “Promotion for All,” policy for elementary school students.

    SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM; The Summer Learning Programwill be held virtually and is scheduled Monday-Friday from 8:30a.m. until12:30 p.m., starting on July 20th and ending August 14th.

    SUMMER LEARNING REGISTRATION: Parents must register their child for the Summer Learning Program no later than July 3rd. To register,complete the form at  cps.edu/SummerLearningRegistration. You will need your child's CPS email address.

    SUMMER LEARNING TECHNOLOGY DISTRIBUTION DATE: Students in need of a device may pick-up a Chromebook on Monday, July13th, through Wednesday, July 15th from 9:00 a.m. to12:00 p.m. Please enter through the main entry. Anyone entering the building must weara face mask.

    REPORT CARDS: Report Cards were mailed to student homes on Monday, June 22nd. If for any reason you do not receive your child's reportcard, you may check your child's grade by logging onto ASPEN Parent Portal. For assistance with ASPEN Parent Portal, you may email Mrs.Roberson, AP at segriffin@cps.edu.
